Privacy
What this site knows about you. Almost nothing.
Last updated 12 August 2026
This site is a static website. It has no forms, no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Nothing you do here is recorded on our servers.
What is stored in your browser
Two small values are saved on your own device so the site behaves sensibly. Neither is a cookie, neither is sent anywhere, and neither identifies you.
bat-theme remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance, so it is not reset every visit. It stays until you clear your browser storage.
bat-loader-seen records that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay as you move between pages. It is cleared when you close the tab.
Analytics and cookies
We use none. No analytics service, no advertising network, no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to.
If you contact us
Writing to hello@beneathatree.com, or booking a call, means we hold what you choose to send — your name, your email address and whatever you tell us about your project. We keep it to reply to you and to do the work if we go on to work together. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Services this site relies on
Images are served from Sanity's content delivery network, which receives the usual request information (such as your IP address) needed to deliver a file.
Booking a call opens Calendly, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy.
Links to Upwork, LinkedIn, our blog and client websites take you to services we do not control. Their policies apply once you leave this site.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@beneathatree.com and we will act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
